We have logged in and we're now at the schedule tab. You can see we actually have a schedule - that's because we haven't entered any employees or clients. So why don't we start off by entering some employees.
First thing you'll notice is there's actually an employee called NONE when you come to the employee tab. That's to help you keep track of shifts that have not been
assigned an employee. We'll talk more about that
a little bit later. Why don't we start off now by adding an employee. So we click the Add Employee link.
Enter the employee's name and his address and his city. And you'll notice that there are no cities to choose from at this point. So lets add a city. Click Add. And we're going to click on State/Province and you'll notice, once again, there's no states or provinces at this point so we're going to add a state. And we're going to enter a zip code.
We're going to add his phone number as well and an alternate or cell phone in this case. And we don't actually have an email for Hector so we'll leave that blank. We're going to enter in the intersection where Hector lives. And at this point in time those are the details we'd like to enter.
You'll notice that we have an opportunity to add a photo of Hector, but it's not actually available to us yet. We need to save this detail first and then we can come back and enter Hector's photo. So lets do that. Save.
You can see that Hector has been added to the list of employees. We click on Hector and now we have an opportunity to add a photo of Hector and it needs to be 90 by 100 pixels. I'll upload it. And there he is. And we'll Save and Close.
That's how easy it is to add employees to Tia Staff Scheduling. You'll notice we have Hector's phone number, cell phone number, his street address, readily available
along with a listing of the closest intersection to where Hector lives. And these are all things that make it easy to figure out whether or not an employee would be
the right person to assign to a client when you're trying to fill shifts.
