Welcome. I'm going to take you through the sign up process for Tia Staff Scheduling. First thing to do is find one of these bright green buttons that says Sign Up Now.
You'll notice that there are only three steps for signing up for Tia Staff Scheduling and no credit card is required.
Lets start by entering our company name and our email address and lastly, our password. Down here - this little checkbox - which we'll need to check off, it says that you are agreeing to the terms of service and acceptable use policy. I would recommend that you take a few minutes to read those. Click the Create button.
Okay this is where we'll enter the general settings for Tia Staff Scheduling. These settings are administratior settings. These settings can only be changed by an administrator. And that's the person who is signing up your company to use Tia Staff Scheduling. That would be you. The Schedule Start Day. We'll leave that at Monday. Warn if employees are double booked and highlight those shifts. We'll leave that as Show. We'd like to see that. The maximum number of hours an employee can be scheduled to work is going to be based on a 1 or 2 week period. We'll choose 2 weeks. The maximum number of hours an employee can be scheduled to work during the above period is - well that's this period here we've chosen. We're going to say 40 hours every 2 weeks. The current time zone - Eastern Time. Yes, that is our time zone. We'll leave that where it is.
User settings. These settings can only be changed by individual users. When viewing lists, is the defaul to show or hide inactive Employees and Clients? We'll leave that at Hide because we don't really want to see people we're not currently working with. Password recovery question. We'll choose the name of our first pet. And answer that here. And we are in a cleaning business so we'll choose this. And now click on the green To Login button.
Alright, at this point we can login to Tia Staff Scheduling for the first time. And click Login. First time you come to Tia Staff Scheduling you'll see this little window, which is our quick start window. It basically outlines the steps you'll need to take in order to create your schedule. First step is entering employee details. Second is entering client details. Creating shifts. View "schedule at a glance." Create reports for invoicing and payroll.
